Rail Maintenance
The business modelled: infrastructure maintenance across a rail network — planned work on many assets, specialist plant whose utilisation drives the economics, and rapid failure reports that must be absorbed without wrecking the plan.
This demo is being built — its sandbox opens here when ready. The shape it will show:
- Planned + reactive as one engine — the maintenance programme and the fault queue optimised together, so a failure report re-plans around the programme rather than trampling it.
- Asset-centred work — jobs belong to assets with histories, access constraints and possession windows.
- Plant utilisation — scarce specialist plant (tampers, grinders, cranes) kept productive across sites; the cost of an idle machine made visible.
